Clear vision, an open mind, and enough persistence to reach the highest goal.
Well-known for his high level of professionalism and devotion to personal service, you can trust Jay with your most important investment - your home. Jay understands the pressures one faces when buying a home or selling a home. In fact, Jay and his wife (and five pets) have moved six times in the last ten years. But interesting enough, all roads led them back to Virginia.
Jay spent 19 years in the service industry before joining the Long & Foster team. He learned to understand his customer's needs and the importance of personalized service as a manager with Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon, Washington Inventory Service, Darryl's, and Rock-Ola-Cafe. An influential leader, Jay was often praised for his high degree of integrity and willingness to go the extra mile for others.
Jay is a southern gentleman, having grown up just outside of Raleigh, North Carolina in a cozy town called Sanford. In addition, he has lived in Fort Worth, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia as well as Virginia Beach and Chester in Virginia. Jay graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (specializing in hospitality management) and was a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity while at UNC Wilmington. Although he went to college in North Carolina, his loyalty to University of Michigan football is enormous. Jay even has a special room in his home devoted to "Wolverine" memorabilia (don't ask his wife what she thinks about this).
Early every morning, you will find Jay at the gym, a habit he took up to counter his other habit...food. He's a sucker for dogs and considers his two dogs Ginger (a whippet) and Jake (a Jack Russell terrier) his children. Jay also has two talking parrots and a cat.
No matter how great or small the challenge, you can always expect Jay to give 110%. He approaches real estate the same way he approaches everything in life, with clear vision, an open mind and enough persistence to reach the highest goal.
